ERIK SATIE • Vexations – Texte und Stücke von Erik Satie

INFORMATION

Erik Satie’s Vexations — regarded as revolutionary at the end of the 19th century — will be given as a complete performance in cooperation with the Mozarteum University of Music. The work consists of only two lines but these two lines are repeated 840 times — a meditative undertaking that will involve several pianists, including the artistic director of the Salzburg Festival.
