( 19 Jul 2012 ) Alessio Arduini was born in Desenzano del Garda in Italy. At the age of 15, he discovered his love for singing and studied for several years with Vincenzo Rose. After various engagements in operas like Don Giovanni, Le nozze di Figaro and I puritani in Italy, he will join the roster of the Vienna State Opera next season.
This summer, Alessio Arduini will appear in Puccini’s opera La bohème at the Salzburg Festival. In this co-production with the Shanghai Grand Theatre, he will share the stage with artists such as Anna Netrebko and Piotr Beczala. His role in Damiano Michieletto’s new production is that of the musician Schaunard. Over the coming weeks, he will also write about his rehearsals and his time in Salzburg.
