Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to welcome the
Faust ensemble and director Nicolas Stemann at the Perner-Insel in Hallein. The atmosphere in the team is good and focused on the premiere on July 28.
Over the course of the rehearsals,
Faust I+II has developed into a special evening of theater (beginning at 5:00 pm), which stretches until 1:20 am, including the three intermissions planned. We are glad that you are joining us for this theatrical marathon, unique to the Salzburg Festival!
We would like to inform you about some logistical details: if you are not arriving with your own car, the Festival is offering a free shuttle bus service for the first time this year. The shuttle bus departs one hour before the beginning of a performance on Reichenhaller Strasse, in front of house number 4. Please note that it can be chilly at the Perner-Insel if the weather is bad and adjust your wardrobe accordingly. We will have blankets on site as well.
We look forward to sharing this theatrical evening with you!
