Ö1 Klassik Treffpunkt at Salzburg’s Landestheater
published in: General
Klassik Treffpunkt is the most popular live classical music broadcast on the Ö1 channel. During the year, the conversations on air take place at the ORF Kulturcafé; during the summer, Treffpunkt hits the road. The program feeds off the magic of the moment, the people it features and the musical samples they bring along. Thomas Oberender has compiled a fascinating and varied program; a broad spectrum that ranges from Yann Tiersen to Beethoven and John Adams, in addition to sounds by Squarepusher and Hauschka. The Festival’s Director of Drama offers insights, reviews, outlooks and guarantees pointed, witty and intelligent observations on theater, art and life.
Klassik Treffpunkt airs live on Ö1 from 10:05 am to 11:35 am.
