Third Salzburg Festival Ball • Cecilia Bartoli Sings at the Opening Concert
Festival Ball, Whitsun
The Salzburg Festival Ball will resemble a glittering fairy-tale for the third time on Saturday, August 30, 2014. The Motto is “La Cenerentola” (Cinderella). Thus I will call upon all gods
With her charisma and her excellence, Cecilia Bartoli sweeps audiences, fellow artists and staff off their feet. Due to her plethora of ideas, the Whitsun Festival has reached a new dimension, artistically and economically. Responsible for the festival’s business aspects as I am, of course I welcome sold-out houses. We will be able to celebrate a new record attendance at Whitsun 2014,” declares Helga Rabl-Stadler, President of the Salzburg Festival.
