Clemens Frank

Clemens Alexander Frank, who was born in Vienna, completed a Bachelor’s degree in singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna from 2019 to 2023 and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance in Christoph U. Meier’s opera class and Florian Boesch’s lied class. The baritone has gained solo stage experience in various genres. In addition to a busy concert schedule, recent engagements have taken him to the Munich Chamber Opera as Conte di Almaviva in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, to the Klassik.Klang festival in Berndorf as Papageno in Die Zauberflöte and to the Schönbrunn Palace Theater in the title role of Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. He made his debut as Dr. Falke in Die Fledermaus at the Pramtaler Sommeroperette in 2023 and sang there shortly afterwards in Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld. He also returned to the Schönbrunn Palace Theater as Gran Sacerdote in Mozart’s Idomeneo under the direction of Michael Sturminger.
In January 2024, Clemens Alexander Frank was a finalist for the Emmerich Smola Award in a live broadcast on SWR. He is a winner of the Lions Music Prize Austria and a scholarship holder of the Anny Felbermayer Fund.
