D-WOK

D-Wok is a creative company that develops innovative formats for shows and creates video designs for live events and opera productions. It has up-to-the minute expertise and experience in virtual reality creation and real-time 3D-technology. The founder and director of D-Wok, Paolo Gep Cucco, has worked with the director Davide Livermore for more than ten years, including at La Scala, Milan, the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, the Sydney Opera House and the Royal Opera House in Muscat. D-Wok develops 3D-mappings and virtual set designs based on the latest technologies.

Projects with Davide Livermore have included Idomeneo and Norma at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, Scarlatti’s Narciso at the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music, La bohème in Rome, Falstaff at the Theatro Municipal de São Paulo and Le nozze di Figaro at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. In 2021 D-Wok was responsible for the video designs and digital set design elements for all productions at the Arena di Verona.

In 2023, the company created the 3D-scenery for the film The Opera!, directed by Davide Livermore and Paolo Gep Cucco.
