Dominique McDougal

Dominique McDougal, born in Lakeland, Florida, began dance training at Florida Dance Theatre in 2005 and became a member of the Florida Dance Theatre Company in 2008. After graduating, he joined the arts initiative Smoke, Lilies and Jade under Zane Booker in Philadelphia.

A training program with Karah Abiog at the Alonzo King LINES Ballet in San Francisco was followed by engagements in productions by artists such as Earl Mosley, Jacob Jonas, Danielle Agami, Laura Karlin, Brigette Dunn-Korpela, Ferdinand DeJesus, Carol Krajacic Erkes, Lennie Meek (new production of Lar Lubovitch’s Concerto 622), Norbert De La Cruz III, James Sewell, Amanda Miller, Gregory Dawson, Alonzo King, Sidra Bell, Renee Redding-Jones, Kevin Wynn and Yuri Zhukov.

Dominique McDougal has also worked on film choreographies and danced in music videos for Bob Dylan, Jónsi (the guitarist and singer of the Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós), Walk the Moon, Cashmere Cat and Selena Gomez, among others. Dominique McDougal lives in Berlin.
