Elizaveta Kulagina

The soprano Elizaveta Kulagina was born in Omsk (Russia) in 1998.

She studied at the St Petersburg Conservatory with Tamara Novichenko and participated in masterclasses with Susanne Elmark, Martina Rüping, Galina Pisarenko, Elena Obraztsova, Sergei Leiferkus, Barbara Frittoli, Dmitry Vdovin and Ramón Vargas. In Moscow Elizaveta Kulagina performed roles such as Tatyana (Eugene Onegin), the title role of La traviata and Liù (Turandot). In 2023 she won a special prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition, and third prize in the Elena Obraztsova International Competition for Young Opera Singers.
