Born in Zug (Switzerland), Evelyne Gugolz studied acting at the Zurich University of Arts. Various works with independent theater formations have taken her to theaters and production venues such as Theater Basel, Gessnerallee Zurich, Sophiensaele Berlin, Kampnagel Hamburg, the Impulse Festival and the Belluard Bollwerk Festival. She has worked together with directors such as Elsa-Sophie Jach, Thom Luz, Schorsch Kamerun, Mateja Koleznik, David Bösch, Anselm Weber, Corsin Gaudenz and Bettina Glaus.
She has been a permanent ensemble member at the Residenztheater München since 2019/2020.
