Twenty-four-year-old Jong-Jie Yin is one of the most exciting young conductors of the new generation. He has quickly made a name for himself internationally following his great success in the 11th Grzegorz Fitelberg International Competition for Conductors in 2023. A series of conducting debuts and immediate return invitations throughout Europe have followed, including with the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, the Poznań Philharmonic, the Silesian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra. Highlights of the 2024/25 season include his debuts at the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw, with the Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonic and with the Opera i Filharmonia Podlaska.

In his native China, Jong-Jie Yin appears regularly as a guest conductor with nearly all the country’s orchestras, among them the National Centre for the Performing Arts Orchestra, the Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra and the Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2023 he has also been assistant conductor of the China National Symphony Orchestra.

In 2021 Jong-Jie Yin was awarded a ‘special mention’ at the 57th International Competition for Young Conductors in Besançon.
