Martina Elmer, born in Salzburg, studied applied musicology/clarinet, business administration and music and cultural management in Klagenfurt, Mexico City and Munich. She is an alumna of the Akademie Musiktheater heute. From 2015 to 2017, she worked in the opera studio and in the guest performance organization of the Bavarian State Opera. She is currently a concert consultant at the Salzburg Festival and a lecturer at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg. From 2018 to 2021, she was also responsible for setting up the interdisciplinary youth program jung & jede*r to mark the 100th anniversary of the Salzburg Festival.
