Born in Berlin in 1988. Studied Classical Studies and History in Basel, Poitiers and Cambridge. Freelance journalist for the “Basler Zeitung”, the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Internships at the Berliner Ensemble under Peter Stein and guest dramaturgy at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden. Co-organiser of the “Junger Salon” in Berlin. From 2012 to 2016, he studied for a doctorate at the Humboldt University in Berlin, which he completed with a dissertation entitled: “Von Mommsen zu Gelzer? Conceptions of Roman Republican Society in ‘Staatsrecht’ and ‘Nobilität'”. He has been an editor in the features section since October 2016. In 2017, he published his narrative debut “Seven Nights”. He has been a member of the board of the Arbeit an Europa e. V. association since 2018 and is the initiator of the European Archive of Voices project. His book “Römische Tage” was published in 2019. In 2022, he published the anthology “Spielplanänderung: Dreißig Stücke, die das Theater heute braucht”. 2023 saw the publication of the novella “zu zweit”.
